ABOUT RMS TRUCK BODIES

RMS Truck Bodies is a locally owned and operated business, specializing in the sales, service, and installations of truck mounted, hydraulic material handling equipment. We are conveniently located in Westminster, Maryland to proudly serve customers in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions.

 

RMS was started over 55 years ago by a family that needed material handling truck equipment for their home and commercial building business. That is when RACE MOTOR SALES was started. The company repaired diesel truck engines and equipment for many years to follow. Years later, the company was incorporated to RMS, Inc. Some of the fine truck-mounted equipment RMS sells today is to the same customers from way back when. Lewis Stoms Jr. acquired RMS in the Spring of 2004 and renamed it to RMS, A Division of Stoms Companies, LLC.

In the Winter of 2019, RMS was acquired by All Roads, a company that powers businesses and consumers through its commercial truck and equipment companies. Through this partnership, we hope to be able to provide our customers with a one-stop shop for all of their needs, from trucks to equipment and custom bodies to parts and repairs. Additionally, we are excited to say that you'll still get the same great service from the same great people.
